Following news of Jennifer Aniston’s engagement to Justin Theroux, Aniston’s ex-husband Brad Pitt and fiancée Angelina Jolie have announced they are regifting to the couple the Smoking Indonesian Baby, which they received from George Clooney (Hollywood & Swine, April 25, 2012) as a wedding present earlier this year.
“We were really hoping they’d give us the Margaritaville blender,” Aniston told Hollywood & Swine. “But the Smoking Indonesian Baby is the next best thing.”
The Smoking Indonesian Baby gained worldwide infamy as a YouTube star in 2010. Two years old at the time, he was smoking up to 40 cigarettes a day. Now four years old, he still looks like a baby, due to the extreme smoking habit that stunted his growth.
“I still the feel terrible about ruining Jen’s life when I stole Brad,” Jolie told Hollywood & Swine. “Hopefully the Smoking Indonesian Baby will bring her as much happiness as Brad brought me.”
According to sources close to Pitt and Jolie, ever since Clooney gave the Smoking Indonesian Baby to them as an early wedding present, the couple did everything in their power to get him to kick his nicotine habit. After trying the patch, Nicorette gum, and even hypnosis, the Smoking Indonesian Baby was still unable to give up cigarettes.
However, tensions began to mount in the Jolie-Pitt household after Brad and Angelina’s 4 year-old daughter Vivienne landed a role in “Maleficent,” the big-budget retelling of “Sleeping Beauty,” starring Jolie. “The Smoking Indonesian Baby really wanted a part in the movie so he could get his SAG card,” said a source close to the couple. “But Angelina thought he voice was way too raspy from years of smoking.”
Jolie’s breaking point came when she caught the Smoking Indonesian Baby giving cigarettes to the family’s other children, Shiloh and Maddox. Pitt and Jolie didn’t know what to do with the Smoking Indonesian Baby until news broke about Jennifer Aniston accepting Justin Theroux’s marriage proposal.
To get the Smoking Indonesian Baby adjusted to his new home, Pitt has been showing him reruns of “Friends” and the comedy “Wanderlust,” the movie on which Aniston and Theroux fell in love.
