In one of the most shocking casting moves in recent television memory, Kris Jenner, the executive producer of the E! smash hit reality series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” has announced she has recast the role of her son with a skinny Rob Kardashian look-a-like. Jenner claims her son Rob left her with no choice because of the 27-year-old sock mogul’s refusal to lose weight and his recent erratic behavior that included leaving his sister Kim’s wedding early last week.
“The Kardashian family has one rule — if you’re too fat to be in the wide shot of your own sex tape, you’re no longer a member of this family,” Jenner told Hollywood & Swine. “I had originally planned on replacing Rob with a skinny Rob Kardashian hologram, but executives at E! felt our family was already way too transparent.”
The actor stepping into the role of Rob Kardashian will be 26-year-old Armenian model Garik Abkarian who Jenner found after an extensive nationwide casting search this week. “Keeping Up with the Kardashian” star Khloe Kardashian admitted although she will miss her brother, the show must go on.
“I tried to help Rob by giving him my ex-husband Lamar Odom’s fool proof weight loss routine, which involves smoking tons of crack and playing a lot of bad basketball,” Khloe Kardashian said. “But I have no doubt Garik will make an excellent new Rob Kardashian. Even Will Smith was forced to re-cast the role of Aunt Viv during the height of ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ and it went for several more seasons.”
